What? Join us as we make our way all over Vancouver “scavenging” for special items, tasks, and information!  We will be out and about over lunch, so pack some food or money to purchase a fast food meal on the road. 

We have several new children from Merger, Haiti available for sponsorship.  If you are interested in sponsoring one of the children ($30/mo), please stop by the Foyer table next Sunday, February 19.  There are pictures and background information for each child. There will also be people available to answer any questions you might have.

A new LIFE Group for single adults between the ages of 25 to 35 is beginning soon!  Bring your favorite dish and join us on Sunday afternoon, February 19 at 12:15 (right after the third service) at the House for a potluck.  If you are interested, please contact Joe or Judy Tremblay.

Zechariah Week 1

The new Adult Equipping class begins this Sunday, January 22nd.  The same class is being offered during both 2nd and 3rd service (9:30 in Room 314 and 11:00am in the Fellowship Hall). 

Zechariah: Visions of a Victorious God -- Years after Israel's return from exile, Jerusalem remained in shambles.  The discouragement of the people was met by a God who remembered His covenant with them.  In the book of Zechariah, God speaks wondrously about Himself, His good plans for His people, and the Messiah to come.

As mentioned at last year’s annual meeting (February 2011), the Church Board has changed Steve Stager’s ministry title from Pastor of Young Adult Ministries to Executive Pastor.  At a congregational meeting on June 12, 2011, the congregation voted to approve Steve as a Pastor.  Beginning on January 1, 2012, he assumed the role of Executive Pastor of Glenwood Community Church.  His primary role is to assist Senior Pastor Paul Jackson in managing the Directors and ministries of Glenwood.  A copy of Steve’s job description is available in the Foyer and online at:
