As we've noted on our Site Help page and in other news items, there are some major benefits to creating an account for the GCC site.
One major benefit is seeing Glenwood family items on the calendar and in the News Archive (things like weddings, baby announcments, etc.). For example: if you're looking for an event on the calendar and can't find it, check to see if you're logged in. If the green button in the upper right says "My Info / Log Out," you're logged in. It'll say "Login/Register" if you're not.
