Our 2012 Haiti Global Outreach (G.O.) Team left Friday, May 11.  We received word from Lauren Young that the G.O. Team has arrived safely in Haiti.  As they are able (and their internet connection allows), the team will be posting pictures of their trip.  Stay tuned for links to that.

Parents of incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, please pick up a letter from Tommy Holczer at the Ministry Information Table about the Middle School’s involvement with VBC this year.

We prayed for a team from Evergreen Bible Church in services on April 22.  They were in Haiti for the week working with Bruce and Cindy McMartin and Johny and Rosadite Philippe.  The plan was to work on the school in Merger.  As it turns out, the weather prevented construction at the school, but I think the kids, their families, and the team members themselves were quite blessed.

We just discovered that our website contact forms have not been working properly since Tuesday April 17.  The issue has been resolved.  If you tried to use a contact form on the website between April 17 and April 25, please re-send your message.  Sorry for the confusion!

Pastor Paul and Nancy Jackson are delighted to announce the marriage of their son, Aaron Jackson, to Natasha (Miller) Jackson.  The wedding was Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Abbotsford, British Columbia.  A link to the wedding ceremony video is available below for those interested in viewing the ceremony.
