Mason & Lauren Young - Haiti

Mason and Lauren left in May, 2011 to go to Haiti with Crossworld for 2 years, where they will work at Séminaire de Théologie Evangélique de Port-au-Prince (STEP) in Port-au-Prince. Mason is providing maintenance support at the seminary and ministers with local children as well. Lauren is serving in a number of capacities: assisting in communications at STEP (newsletters, brochures, Facebook, etc), teaching at Merger (English and possibly music), and leading a Bible club with Haitian kids.  Mason and Lauren have been to Haiti before; once shortly after being married, and then Mason returned in 2010 with our Haiti GO Team.
