Global Outreach (GO) Teams are small, high impact teams that work on tasks in a cross cultural setting. Typically, they are made up of individuals with particular skills relating to the needed task. Following our vision for Global Outreach, GO teams from Glenwood are sent to support those called to serve on a long term basis by assisting with the development of national workers and leaders.
In May, 2007, a team traveled to Sudan to help begin reconstruction of a medical clinic in Doro. A second team returned in 2009 to continue construction projects at the medical compound. A July 2008 team ministered alongside John and Brooke Stevens in Slovenia working with unchurched young people. In July, 2010, a team went to Haiti to assist in the rebuilding efforts, necessary because of the January 2010 earthquake.
In October, 2011, a team returned to Haiti to assist in the Merger Building Project, focusing specifically on building the Phase 1 wall.
