Student Teams

Since 1988 the Youth Group Short Term Mission (STM) teams have worked in both cross-cultural and local settings during the spring and summer, often traveling to Mexico to work with YUGO Mission and to Canada, where they participate in the ministry of Rock Nest Ranch to local native Americans.

In 2008 The Youth Group STM team traveled to Orofino, Idaho to minister to the local community through practical service projects. The team was featured by KLEW-TV in Lewiston on their evening newscast -- check out the video!

Individual youth group members often participate in ministry opportunities as well. The rigors of travel, the relative lack of amenities, and the need to accept high levels of responsibility is part of the STM experience.
