Russ & Linda Richardson

Russ and Linda Richardson work with Sauvie Island Community Church on Sauvie Island near Portland, Oregon. They are associated the agency Village Missions. The ministry of Village Missions is to encourage the development of local churches in small communities where there is no evangelical presence. Russ and Linda have been with Village Missions since 1976 and were at Clover Valley Community Church for 13 years prior to beginning their work on Sauvie Island in 2001. Sauvie Island Community Church is the only church on the island with an average attendance of 76 each Sunday. Russ preaches and leads a men's accountability group. Linda teaches a women's Bible study, Sunday School, and helps out with various other functions at the church.

In addition to Russ's pastoral work, Linda has been developing a Bible study among local women. The Richardsons have 4 children. Jeremy (8/1/78) is in his 4th year at Prairie Bible College. The twins Amanda and Lucas (3/11/81) are attending Ecola Bible College. Nathan (3/12/88) is attending school at home.
