Men's

The focus of Men's Ministries at Glenwood is to challenge men to grow in their walk with God and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through sound biblical teaching, living out God's Word, building relationships, evangelism opportunities, and fellowship and fun.

Most men in our congregation are quite busy.  Adding a bunch of Men's events to an already busy schedule is not helpful if a man is to lead his life and his family well.  That's why we're intentional about limiting the number of "men-only" events at night or on the weekends.  Occasional group activities at those times are beneficial and encouraging.  Eating up all your free time with your family is not. 

Men's Ministries has a weekly morning event and two annual events.  Other events happen occasionally throughout the year.  Links to information about our two annual Men's events are listed to the right.  We also have a Men's LIFE Group that meets Saturday mornings in Battle Ground.

First Things First

The mainstay of Glenwood's Men's Ministries is First Things First.  Each Friday morning from 6:00-7:00 a.m., Senior Pastor Paul A. Jackson hosts a men's Bible Study and prayer time in the church library. After an inductive study of the passage to be preached the coming Sunday.  Following the study, we then pray in small groups for the balance of the hour.  Feel free to leave for work, if necessary, any time during the hour.
