Seniors

The Seniors Ministry at Glenwood is about creating and strengthening relationships for the sake of the Gospel.  Fellowship and service are the critical aspects of this ministry.

Seniors meet weekly at local establishments to enjoy good food and company.  Our Knitters Group meets monthly at Panera Bread in Vancouver.  We also host two Seniors potlucks per year.

The main avenue for service in the Seniors ministry is through our Quilters Group.  Last year 556 quilts were distributed among the following ministries:

• Salvation Army
• Ray Hickey Hospice House
• Vancouver Veterans Domicile
• Options 360
• Open House Ministries
• Grace Lodge

The quilters meet on Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall at least twice a month.  See the Seniors calendar for specific dates.
