Who We Are

We truly want the children of our church family to know, love, and follow Jesus. From the moment your child first steps into the classroom to their last goodbye of the morning, our desire is that they will experience both joy-filled learning and a deep sense of belonging. Our faithful teachers look forward to guiding your child in this journey, counting it a privilege to walk alongside families in the joy of raising children to know, love, and follow Jesus. We look forward to walking with you.

What We Do

Our ministry starts with Sunday Morning classes.

Children’s Ministry classes are offered for Infants – 5th grade during both our 9:00am and 10:45am services. Each class is led by 3-5 dedicated volunteers who delight in sharing the Good News of Jesus. We are committed to providing consistency in the classroom so your child will see the same caring volunteers each week through the entire teaching year (September – July).

In the classroom your child will experience an opening activity, consisting of either a craft, game, or play time, a Bible story taught by one of our volunteers (we utilize the Gospel for Kids curriculum), music, and a closing activity that seeks to further apply the Bible story.

Our volunteers regularly gather to pray, plan, and participate in Children’s Ministry training. All Children’s Ministry volunteers fill out a ministry application, provide references, and receive a national background check.

Mother’s Room

We understand the challenges a new mom can face. Our mother’s room, located in our Children’s Ministry wing, offers a comfortable, designated space for moms to attend to their little ones’ needs. The Worship Service is streamed in the room, and you’ll also find water, snacks, and a restroom for potty training children.

Register Your Child

You can register your child for classes before you arrive.

Children’s Ministry FAQs

Do I have to register my child for them to attend?

Registration is a great way to share more information about your child and have them officially added to the roster, however, registration is not a requirement to attend. There will be a volunteer in each classroom ready to help you check your child in for the morning.

Can I come into the classroom with my child?

Yes, parents are welcome to sit in class with their child. You will be provided with a visitor nametag and welcomed into the classroom.

What age group will my child be in?

We align with the grade structure outlined by the local school district.
