Who We Are

We want to see the men of Glenwood embody a spirit of servant-leadership, as we follow the example of Jesus. In every avenue of life; from our family, our church family, and into our community, we encourage our men to seek opportunities to serve the needs of others.

What We Do

Knowing that time is at a premium, we try to be intentional with our Men’s Ministry. First, we want to help our men learn to build relationships with one another. To that we have social events every few months to help men form friendships. Those can include a Men’s Breakfast, hikes, or serving our community.

Second, we want to challenge our men to grow in wisdom through God’s word. We have a handful of Bible studies available, such as First Things First on Friday morning, and a Saturday morning Men’s Bible study.

Last, we encourage our men to give of themselves in service to our church family. Some options and examples would be as an usher or greeter, teaching and leading in children’s and student ministries, men’s events, work-crews around the facilities, Helping Hands for the elderly, and visitation of shut-ins and the ill.

Hard times build strength and reveals the genuineness of our faith. Men, let’s get together for breakfast and hear from speaker Brian Sakultarawattn, “Only the Strong Survive”. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. Sign up online or at the foyer table on Sunday.
