What is the STM sale?
STM stands for Short Term Missions, and the yard sale has been a tremendous fundraising arm for sending short term missionaries and teams. In just the past year we have helped send a team to Hungary and individuals to Cuba, Thailand, Albania, Uganda, and more. The sale is a big lift that unites our church family around a common purpose in the month of May.
If you would like to be a part of the volunteer team, click the applicable buttons below. You can volunteer for both the set up and sale team, but you will need to sign up for each separately.
Important Dates
March 28 – First drop-off day
April 25 – Second drop-off day
May 4 – Training option 1
May 7 – Training option 2
May 11-13 – Sale set up
May 14-16 – SALE
May 18 – Final clean up day
What items can I drop off?
We are accepting items that are in good condition that are easy to resell. Items should fit in a minivan or closed truck bed. Below are items that we are NOT accepting:
Items we are NOT accepting:
- Clothes, comforters, pillows, tablecloths
- Office furniture, desks, large furniture, sleeper sofas
- CRT TV’s and monitors
- Tires
- VHS, CD’s, cassette tapes
- Coffee mugs, water bottles
- Non-fiction books and picture frames
- Outdated small appliances and vacuums
- Christmas trees or lights
- Mattresses
Glenwood is a non-denominational church with a simple vision: we are a family, becoming like Jesus, to fulfill His mission.
